This hotel was excellent value for money, seeing price-lists in other hotels. We only stayed here for 3 nights, as we didn't have time, yet everything was great. Its location within walking distance of Matterdale Church was magnificent....

I had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the full English breakfast and the cozy atmosphere by the wood-burning stove. The quirky decor added charm, although the TV reception wasn't great. I'd definitely return!
